Tale of the Sleeping Giants released
The premiere was held in Helsinki at the Tennispalatsi iSENSE theater
On December 3rd, 2021 the third film in the award-winning Finnish nature film series, Tale of the Sleeping Giants, was released in cinemas. The soundtrack album is out now on TIDAL, Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon.
Featuring performances from the innovative vocal group Tuuletar and one of Finland's most esteemed orchestras, Tapiola Sinfonietta, the music accompanies the film on a journey into the magic of Lapland's natural beauty through the stunning cinematography of Teemu Liakka.
Directed by Marko Röhr and produced by Hanna Kauppi and Marko Röhr the film brings the audience close to Lapland's fells, many seasons and animals through the lense of the rich mythology of ancient Scandinavians and Lapps.
