“I’m always looking for new angles to take on in film scores, so when director Taavi Vartia suggested I use an electric guitar on Rangers of the Lost Ring, I had a ton of fun going on a journey from modern rock through 80s action movies, to even the Bond movies of the 60s. And then with the Budapest Art Orchestra beautifully performing many of our soaring adventure moments, I really got to play with many wonderful timbres in this score.” – Panu Aaltio
