This Is Not An Ad released

Panu Aaltio composed the score for This Is Not An Ad, a short film written and directed by Dustin Brown for Last Chance for Animals. The five-minute film, starring Sierra McCormick, follows a fast-food cook haunted by dark visions that expose the brutal reality behind the meat she serves.

The electronic score builds an uneasy, dystopian atmosphere while subliminally weaving in sounds of animals in distress. The film premiered at the Santa Monica Film Festival on March 28, 2026, and is available to watch at thisisnotanad.org.

Brown and Last Chance for Animals have previously collaborated on the award-winning short films Casa de Carne and Super Cow.
