The Find

In a remote village deep in the taiga, a solitary and unsociable fishing inspector named Trofim Rusanov keeps to the same unvarying rounds. One day he finds an abandoned baby in a derelict forest house, and carrying the child to safety through the wilderness sets him on a longer search for the mother who left it, and for something like forgiveness.
